MAKALU BASE CAMP TREK

It's a long but fine trek from Hille or Tumlingtar along Arun river to the Makalu Base Camp in eastern Nepal. On this trek you will go through Arun Valley which is famous for its unique flora and fauna not only for Nepal but also for the world. this place still needs your exploration to come out with true delight and entertainment provided by birds and wildlife

Day 01 Arrival at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Day 03 Fly Biratnagar & drive to Hille – 5 hours
Day 04 Hille – Hillepani – 5 hours
Day 05 Hillepani – Tumlingtar 100m. - 5.5 hours
Day 06 Tumlingtar – Kuwapani - 5.5 hours
Day 07 Kuwapani – Chichila – 6 hours
Day 08 Chichila – Num – 5.5 hours
Day 09 Num- Seduwa – 5 hours
Day 10 Seduwa – Tashigaun 2200m. – 6 hours
Day 11 Tashigaun – Khongmadanda – 6 hours
Day 12 Khongmadanda – Mumfuk – 5.5 hours
Day 13 Mumfuk -Yangre Kharak - 6 hours
Day 14 Yangle Khark –Mera – 6 hours
Day 15 Mera -Sersung (half day rest) for Acclimatize
Day 16 Sersung - Makalu Base camp 5000m. – 4 hours
Day 17 Makalu Base Camp - Glacier camp 5500m. – 6 hours
Day 18 Glacier - Trek to High glacier Camp 5700m. – 5.5 hours
Day 19 Climb to Sherpini Pass West Col 6100m, descent to Baruntse Base camp 5200m. – 6.5 hours
Day 20 Rest
Day 21 Baruntse Base camp - Panch Pokhori 5000m – 5 hours
Day 22 Panch Pokari - cross to Amphu lapsa pass 5780, decent Chukkung – 7 hours
Day 23 Chhukung 4730m - Thyanboche 3800m. – 4 hours
Day 24 Thyangboche – Namche Bazaar 3440m – Jorsalle 2800m. – 5 hours
Day 25 Jorsalle – Lukla 2800m. – Approx. 5.5 hours
Day 26 Lukla - Kathmandu
Day 27 Rest in Kathmandu
